We have gone through many struggles to understand the built landscape and how to create and maintain yours. We will present information that is grounded in reality and the landscape world. There are many ways to develop and maintain a landscape, so feel free to add your two shovels worth to the discussion. There should always be learning and creating content to go on.
This conversation will address plantings, places, climate, plantings, and landscape in the Chicagoland area. Many of the strategies and information can be used in other climates, locations, and places across the world. Landscape Architecture can solve so many of the problems that are facing our world today by looking at the systems, materials, people, and presidents that are in our world.
We will always be upbeat and positive about both the environment and the people we interact with every day. We ask that you do the same. There can still be a critical eye to the posts, and that is acceptable. If there are non-constructive comments, we will put them in the trash, not the compost pile, so to speak.
